HOW TO ENROLL FOR ELECTRONIC
FEDERAL TAX PAYMENTS
It is easy to sign up to have the payments electronically withdrawn from your checking account.
Log on to https://www.eftps.gov, a secure site
Click on Enrollment
Check the box next to “I accept the Privacy and Paperwork Reduction Act”
Click on the Business tab
Complete business information such as Employer Identification Number (EIN), Name, and Telephone Number.
Complete contact information
Complete financial information
CHOOSE “Authorize a Transaction”
DO NOT choose “Have your Financial Institution initiate your transaction”
Click the Review tab
Complete electronic signature information
Check the box next to “I accept the Privacy and Paperwork Reduction Act”
Click the Complete tab at the bottom of the page
