1868 - Welcome to George S. Baker and Company, Bankers! Our bank was established by George S. Baker, just three years after the Civil War ended. The original location opened its doors at our current 3rd & Main branch in Maryville.
1873 - Introducing the new Nodaway Valley Bank! The bank received its current name after being purchased by James B. Prather and Theodore L. Robinson. Ever since this purchase, the Robinson family has been at the helm of Nodaway Valley Bank.
1960 - Nodaway Valley Bank is ahead of the game! Nodaway Valley Bank builds the first modern drive-up facility and offers the first ATM service in our area.

1989 - Opened our doors in Hopkins (this location is no longer in operation)
1990 - Opened our doors in Savannah
1995 - Opened our doors in St. Joseph
2003 - Acquired Heritage Bank of St. Joseph
2007 - Acquired Exchange Bank of Mound City

After identifying the need for a trusted resource of investment advice in the area, Nodaway Valley Investment Services (NVIS) was established. With superior customer service in mind, NVIS provide clients with comprehensive financial planning and brokerage services. NVIS financial advisors have a permanent office at the Nodaway Valley Bank Belt & Faraon Branch but are available to meet with clients at any Branch Location.
