What is JavaScript?
JavaScript, as defined by google, is an object oriented computer programming language commonly used to create interactive effects within web browsers.
• Google Chrome
– Click on the menu icon (Three dots)
– Select “Settings”
– Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click “Advance”
– Under “Privacy and Security” click on “Site Settings”
– Under “Permissions” click on “Cookies”
– Turn “Allow sites to save & read cookie data…” to the “ON” position

• Firefox
Note: Cookies are enabled by default in Firefox.
– Click the menu icon
– Select “Content Blocking”
– The “Privacy & Security” panel of Firefox Preferences will open. This is where you can view your settings for Content Blocking, which includes Cookies
NOTE: If Standard is selected, it means that you are using the default settings for
content blocking and cookies are enabled

• Internet Explorer 11
– Click on the menu icon (Gear)
– Select “Internet Options”
– Select the “Privacy” tab and then click “Advanced”
– Under “Advanced Privacy Settings” select either “Accept” or “Prompt” for both First & Third-Party Cookies
NOTE: To enable JavaScript follow the steps below.
– Select the “Security” tab and then click “Custom level…”
– Scroll down and locate “Scripting” confirm that “Enable” is selected under “Active scripting”
• Safari
– “Safari” and then “Preferences…”
– Select the “Privacy” tab and verify that “Block all cookies” is disabled

– Select the “Security” tab and verify that “Enable JavaScript” is enabled
