Mediterranean Cruise

Day 1: September 2, 2013
Barcelona, Spain
There's nothing quite like Barcelona. Especially if you consider the architecture. The city lays claims to its very own form of Art Nouveau, known as Modernisme. The Sagrada Familia Basilica is perhaps the best example of this beautiful and interesting brand of architecture, with its bold color, beautiful tile-work and swirling lines. At the same time, many find the work at the Picasso Museum and the cathedrals of the Gothic Quarter equally inspiring.

Day 2: September 3, 2013
Cannes (Monte Carlo), France
Cannes and the tiny principality of Monaco personify the charismatic French Riviera, with its long boardwalks, the massive yachts anchored in the harbor, and its warm, sunny plazas. It's no wonder these two cities draw some of the world's elite travelers every summer.

Day 3: September 4, 2013
Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Italy
From La Spezia, which provides ready access to the Cinque Terre region, one can easily travel to Florence as well as to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Even if you don't venture inland to Florence and Tuscany you can enjoy La Spezia's, spectacular collection of cathedrals and the art-nouveau-style villas that ring the hillsides.

Day 4: September 5, 2013
Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Civitavecchia was settled in 108 A.D. by the Emperor Trajan and has since served faithfully as a gateway to the capital of the Empire-Rome. Once the center of the Ancient World from which emperors ruled over nearly all of western civilization, Rome is still a cultural mecca. Stroll the ancient halls of the Colosseum or gaze upon the ceilings of the Sistine Chapel.

Day 5: September 6, 2013
Naples, Italy
Located on the southern coast of Italy, Naples has spectacular scenery that attracts artists from around the world. One of Naples' greatest contributions to western civilization -pizza- was invented to honor the Queen of Italy in 1889.

Day 6: September 7, 2013
At Sea
Whether you enjoy experimenting with new cuisines or are a wine connoisseur, Celebrity Cruises has a wide variety of activities that many will enjoy. If expanding your knowledge is more your style, sit in on expert speakers or take a dance lesson, the opportunities are endless. Then again, maybe a little R&R is what you're looking for - with an onboard spa, deck chairs, yoga classes, you can choose your level of engagement or just watch the sunset as you sip a refreshing beverage.

Day 7: September 8, 2013
Kotor, Montenegro
Kotor offers some of the most well preserved architecture in all the Adriatic coast, with landmarks such as the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. Built in 1166, there are frescoes dating back hundreds of years, and much of the gold and silver relief work done by the city's master craftsmen of that time are held for safe keeping within its walls.

Day 8: September 9, 2013
Venice, Italy
One of the world's most beautiful cities also happens to be one of its most unusual. Venice is actually spread over 120 islands in the Adriatic Sea. Because the city is connected by canals instead of streets, a good way to see Venice is on a romantic gondola ride. The epicenter of the city is St.Mark's Square, where you'll find the 900-year-old St. Mark's Basilica.

Day 9: September 10, 2013
Venice, Italy
Enjoy the morning while still in beautiful Venice before departing for Croatia in the afternoon.

Day 10: September 11, 2013
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Established 1,300 years ago on the far southern tip of the Dalmatian Coast, this city once rivaled Venice in terms of its importance. Take a walking tour to the Dominican Monastery and marvel at the finest collection of Renaissance paintings, including a painting by Titian.

Day 11: September 12, 2013
At Sea
Looking for another activity to enjoy? There's absolutely nothing like the Celebrity Cruise Lawn Club. A freshly manicured lawn on the highest deck of Celebrity Equinox. This is The Lawn Club. Enjoy casual outdoor activities in a decidedly Country Club atmosphere, and let the grass between your toes take you places no cruise has gone before.

Day 12: September 13, 2013
At Sea
Another day to explore the cruise ship or relax in the sun. The Sky Observation Lounge offers a quiet place to soak in the sights of the expansive ocean. The ship offers ten dining venues and comfortable accommodations so wherever you are, you'll enjoy the experience.

Day 13: September 14, 2013
Barcelona, Spain
Arriving in Barcelona during the wee hours will provide you ample time to explore the city before your departing flight.
